Day of Prayer-Celebration

Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem

October 4th, 2009

Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May those who love you be secure."

On the first Sunday of every October, hundreds of millions of people around the world join together to pray for the "Peace of Jerusalem."

Though we pray every day for Israel, one day is set aside each year to raise global awareness and intercession for God’s purposes in Israel, knowing that this hour in history is critical and our authority in prayer is great.

Suggestions are made to make sure your local church is participating on October 4th, to forward this to as many people as you can, and sign the "Call to Prayer Resolution."

Finally, the Jerusalem Celebration of the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem will be carried live into 192 nations on GOD.TV.

For more information or to receive FREE equipping packet now, obtaining helpful materials such as posters, prayer cards, videos, flyers, and children’s resources for your local church, go now to www.daytopray.com.

May the Lord’s shalom rest over each of you,
