You are cordially invited to attend the first of four forums; the first one beginning here in Jacksonville:
PASTORS’ FREEDOM FORUM
Our nation is at a critical point in history. Our Christian values and the moral foundation of America are under attack. But, we were born for such a time as this. As the American Revolution was preceded by The Great Awakening, so today, a spiritual awakening is essential to a cultural renewal. It was the sermons of pastors that fueled the American Revolution. Today is no different. Pastors are called to speak Biblical truth to this generation.
Join us for the Pastors’ Freedom Forum. You will be encouraged. We will share with you how pastors and churches can play a critical role in preserving and passing on the legacy of liberty.
- What can pastors and churches do to advance Christian values?
- Can pastors preach about moral values during an election?
- How can church members be informed of issues that affect life, liberty and family?
- Can pastors speak about moral and political issues without affecting their IRS tax exemption?
- What kind of voter guides are permissible for distribution?
Liberty Counsel and the Florida Family Policy Council will present four Pastors’ Freedom Forums featuring Duke Westover, Former Executive Assistant to Dr. Jerry Falwell Sr., and Harry Mihet, Senior Litigation Counsel for Liberty Counsel, who lived under a repressive Communist regime in Romania. In addition, the first and second Forums will also feature Mathew Staver, Founder of Liberty Counsel and Dean of Liberty University School of Law, and the third and fourth Forums will include John Stemberger, President and General Counsel of Florida Family Policy Counsel. We want to encourage and equip you for the work that lies ahead. We must be both "salt and light."
We must speak and vote our Christian values. This is not about the Donkey or the Elephant. It is about the Lamb. We hope to see you there!
