There have been many opportunities right here in Jacksonville to share the much-needed message of Father’s extravagant love through our favorite tool, Father’s Love Letter!

Look what the Lord has done: The entire week of Super Bowl and following throughout the month, thousands of Father’s Love Letters were given out on the streets and at various events.

• The ‘Super March for Jesus’ parade was held on the streets of downtown Jacksonville on January 29^th with Father’s Love Letter as the major evangelism tool along the route. The parade was featured on the front page of the Sports section in the New York Times and also on the front page of our Metro section. We were able to witness with Father’s Love Letter to many of the media, event staff personnel, set-up crews and NFL staff along the river, as the march was finishing up. Through the various forms of media, the NFL referred to this as being the first faith based Super Bowl and mentioned their desire to see this continue! This parade was a great spiritual preparation for Super Bowl week.
• Teen Challenge of Jacksonville, joined with us in distributing over 6,000 of the American Tract Society’s Father’s Love Letter tract. These were given out around the perimeter, of the NFL sponsored Convoy of Hope event. As the day ended, they took all that we gave them and went down along the river, where the crowds were for Super Bowl, and more FLL tracts were given out there. The FLL post cards, which feature a color photo of the Jacksonville skyline, that Abba printing does for us, was also taken along the riverbank. People were eager to receive these cards as they looked like a souvenir of Jacksonville, however they received a better souvenir than some might have expected!
• Another 3,000 FLL were distributed at a Prayer Breakfast for pastors and leaders. There were about 600 attending, some taking hundreds back with them to give out at their churches and at outreaches.
• The following week, the Father’s Love Letter text was printed over the background of the large and small hand, onto parchment, then rolled and tied with ribbon and given out at a wedding.
• On February 26^th the STAND rally was held at the Jacksonville Arena.  STAND, Students Taking A New Direction, is an evangelistic, faith based, sexual abstinence event. This was the third rally where the Father’s Love Letter video was played and the first time that a Father’s Love Letter was given to all, 8,000 were distributed. Youth and youth pastors stopped by our booth. The responses were of astonishment or confirmation of the fatherless statistics. One pastor told us that of the 37 who came on the bus to STAND, only 5 students live with their biological father or have a father figure in their life.
• February was what many call the “love” month, and we have many other reports of the use of the FLL video, audio and text distributions through ministries and individuals at weddings, funerals, nursing homes, prayer groups, churches and women’s prisons.

More recently:

We went to the Beauty for Ashes planning meeting to take Father’s Love Letters, in English and Swahili, for the women’s conference that will be taking place in Kenya in mid April. Heaven’s Key Ministries International has been imparting the healing of Father’s love to battered and abused women, faithfully, for several years here in the First Coast area. F LL has been one of the tools in bringing hope and healing to these many women. Now they will be taking this message to another nation! Yeah God!

The Father’s Love Letter video was played at Lowell Correctional Institute; this is a faith-based women’s prison in the state of Florida. There were reports of deep encounters that the women had with their Heavenly Father.

New ambassador, FLL mail carrier, Connie, took several hundred Father’s Love Letters with her to England. She came back a few weeks later, so excited about her adventure distributing these letters of love!! She left them everywhere! At her return, to where she had placed them, they needed to be replenished! She had a blast! Her purse remains a mailbag, here in the USA! She said, “This can be addicting!” Souls! Souls! Souls!

Over 100 Father’s Love Letters were stuffed into postage paid envelopes and mailed back to the insurance, credit card, or other business, which had sent them to our home. What a joy that was!

These are but a few of the countless testimonies of His love at work in us and through us, as well as others! There is so much more to tell! His heart beats with compassion for His little ones. Who can resist so great a love? Yeah God, for His great love!

Virtually there is no end in sight, nor should there be! Father’s Love Letters can be shared in many ways; some have been mentioned here. Perhaps you have testimonies you can share with us. Let us hear from you!

American Tract Society is now in its second printing of Father’s Love Letter, available at local Christian stores.  Another color version is available online at the web site. We offer the DVD, VHS tapes, CD, posters, and Devotional Books for your donations of the suggested retail price. Take advantage of this opportunity, to sow into this ministry, and reach out to others with this transforming message.

April 24^th, The Opening of the Beaches Parade, starting off at 2 PM. WE NEED YOU to gather between 1PM and 2PM to receive material to hand out and for instruction and prayer. Come walk with other ambassadors of Father’s Love, behind the banner, and hand out Father’s Love Letters and other items, with great joy!

May 1-8^th, Father’s Love Forum is in Pasadena, California this year. THERE ARE TRAVEL EXPENSES AND PRAYER COVERING ASSOCIATED WITH THIS TRIP.

May 5^th, National Day of Prayer, Latham Plaza, behind the Jacksonville Beach City Hall from 6PM-8PM. Children’s Prayer stations and Ministry Tables are new features from 4PM-6PM. May 20^th, The Baccalaureate Service for a local high school that is distributing Father’s Love Letter to graduates, faculty, and guests!! A Baccalaureate Service is an excellent place in which to give students the word of God found within Father’s Love Letter. (PRAY AND MAKE THIS SUGGESTION FOR OTHER SCHOOLS.)

Praise to God, Who is worthy to be praised! To God be the glory for the things He has done!

Many of you know of Bill’s surgery for total hip replacement in September. The report is good!! He went into surgery, covered in prayer by many of you and beginning with prayer by the doctor performing the surgery! After a brief hospital stay, physical therapy, some strict orders, and continued prayer, we are on the road to complete recovery. God is faithful and the healing process continues, even as Bill is back at work. Thank you for praying!

While going through this time of healing, we took advantage of visiting family and old friends along with enjoying some beautiful weather, in southern California . Ministry continued throughout the trip, mainly through the use of Father’s Love Letter ! Every flight attendant and the crew received one on each flight, other travelers, family, friends, waiters, store clerks, and everywhere. The mission field is the world. Even as believers, all need to be reminded of Daddy’s great love for us. This world continues to tell us otherwise and we must continue to reemphasize truth, encouraging one another with the hope that lies within.

Deborah went to the National Day of Prayer (NDP) Conference in Colorado Springs , Colorado , at Focus on the Family, with James and Shirley Dobson. It was an encouragement and confirmation to us all to pray as never before. We must be encouragers, praying for all people, for all leaders, all nations, fervently and continually, beyond all elections and the appointments of judges and other leading positions in our government. Hot Pursuit Ministries International will be assisting the NDP team, here in the Jacksonville area, to bring awareness of the various ministries within our community and to encourage their involvement and need for ongoing prayer.

There is a spiritual battle going on for the souls of men. Families and marriages are under attack. The enemy seeks to divide us, to conquer us, if we yield to the pressure against us, instead of yielding ourselves to God and resting in His great love. Abiding in the One, Who has conquered our enemy, keeps us in a place of safety. Compromising His statutes to reach a solution will only bring more devastation upon us. We must find the place where we yield our opinions, our hurts, and our emotions and humble ourselves before Him to accomplish His purpose for us on the earth. We must stay focused on the One and show grace and mercy, along with love and humility, allowing God to do what we cannot do. The STAND Rally was moved to February 26 th , Saturday, at 10 AM at the Jacksonville Memorial Arena. This is a sexual abstinence rally. The Father’s Love Letter card will be given to all students, an estimated 14,000 are hoped to attend the rally. The video of Father’s Love Letter ( FLL ) will be shown along with a brief message, presented by Shiloh Place Ministries, on Father’s love. There are many volunteers and funding needed for this event and funding towards the printing of Father’s Love Letter . Contact us with your support and other concerns for this event. A door of opportunity has opened to place Father’s Love Letter into Alltel Stadium for the Super Bowl . The printers are ready to go. Due to the size of the print order and this being the end of the year, a short time frame exists for the job to be done. So the printers have asked us to move as soon as possible!

The American Tract Society (ATS) is now printing Father’s Love Letter as an offered tract and in color. The color version, taken from the Devotional Book, is the most ideal to use for this outreach. Barry Adams, the author of FLL , spoke with ATS about this open door here in Jacksonville and told them we would need no less than 130,000 for outreaches that week, including at Alltel. They want to help make this happen. They are looking for sponsors for the $11,375 cost of printing 130,000, in color, printing the local follow-up information, cutting to tract size, quarter folding, packaging into 100’s, and shipping. Sponsors that are related to the American Tract Society should cover some of this cost. However, the best rate we were quoted was given by one of the printers here in Jacksonville . The printing of the color version with the folding will be about $9,500. We must move as soon as possible for the best rate because of the demand of orders being done during this season. Father is faithful and will provide through the resources He is pouring out. We know it will come together in His time and through those He has spoken to.

Keep in mind, that though we live here in Jacksonville , the majority of those who will be going to the Super Bowl are from all over this nation and other places around the world. This is a mission field that all, in some way, can participate in. Our goal is to see increase to the kingdom of God and bring glory to Him! Souls!

Please join us in prayer concerning the many souls who will be receiving Father’s Love Letter  and for the provision needed to have the printing completed. This is a great opportunity for the body of Christ, here in Jacksonville , to bring healing to the hurting and broken hearted, to give direction and identity to those who are lost, and to add souls to the kingdom of God . With great delight and gratefulness in our hearts, we send this to you! Faithful is our God!

Our hope and prayer is that this summer has found us all more in love with Jesus and with many more testimonies of the goodness of God! There is much to report to you since our last letter. We have been traveling some, spending time with family, and seeking direction for our lives and this ministry. Just recently, we received the blessing of our 8th grandchild, a daughter, born on July 10^th to our third son, Micah and his wife, Melissa. As would be expected, this has brought much change. Change is good for all of us; the adjustments can be difficult!

For us, there will be changes in updates to you, our supporters, with ministry activities. Without volunteer or paid staff, we continue to do the work of many! For this and other reasons, some changes have become necessary, giving us more time to minister one on one, to keep records in a timely manner, redirect funds for more efficiency, and still allow us to keep you informed of the work of this ministry. To inform you of ministry, we will be sending an email with a link to view our newsletter on the websites. Please contact us with your current email address, so you can keep updated on events, navigate the site, and support this work through your prayers, order resource materials and donate online. This should help us to be better stewards of our time and finances. For those of you who do not have computer access, we will continue to mail the newsletter as before.

During the first week of May, we were at the Father’s Love Forum in Kelowna, BC, Canada. This was again a great privilege for us to be a part of and receive an impartation from men and women of God from all over the world, who share the message of Father’s love. We gathered together in adoration of our Father, receiving more of Father’s love through worship, teaching, and fellowship. As always, we came back to Florida filled with precious cargo to give!

While in Canada, we were delighted to spend time with a couple, who were able to place us in contact strategically for the purpose of distributing Father’s Love Letters during the Super Bowl. This will give us two major outlets of distribution for that week. Approximately 300,000 FLL will be printed for the more than 130,000 people, who are expected in our city that week, from all over the USA and the world. An aerial banner to fly around the stadium, billboards, and FLL are budgeted at $12,000.

On Father’s Day, the first citywide initiative was launched in Kingman, Arizona, a town of 35,000 residents, located on Route 66, between Las Vegas, Nevada and Flagstaff, Arizona. In brief: for several weeks, billboards were placed along Route 66 and in the city of Kingman, every resident received a postcard with Father’s Love Letter, a full page in the newspaper of FLL, television and radio ads of Father’s love were broadcast, food, clothes and Bibles distributed, as well as free FLL resources. Though our city is much greater in the number of residents and the largest land mass city in the USA, we do have more churches; and can expect the same kind of citywide event here on the First Coast, in the very near future, on a larger scale! During Father’s Day weekend, many reports came to us concerning the use of Father’s Love Letter in text, audio, or video here in our own area.  We received countless testimonies, directly and indirectly, of transformed lives through this ministry and with the use of this ministry tool.

Fatherlessness still remains the most prevalent social disorder of today. It is clear, with almost every problem we face in America and the world, that all could be solved through the acceptance of this love. Here lies our identity, our direction, our security, our peace, our purpose, and our joy! When we are rooted and grounded in love, we see others and ourselves differently, treating each other with honor and respect as creations of God. He is love. In love, we seek to find the place of agreement, where we can walk as one, though we are different. It is the enemy seeking to divide us, to conquer us; where God is seeking to unite us, even in our differences. In unity, He commands the blessing. This love is a powerful force against the forces of darkness. Love covers and protects us from all harm in the midst of the storm. Satisfaction comes when we abide in that restful place of His love, no matter what is going on around us! If you haven’t done so today, take a rest in His refreshing, loving embrace! You will be glad you did! Daddy is taking care of everything!

Seek that place of rest in Daddy’s love, forgive quickly, encourage yourself and others, find the place of agreement, refuse to be critical of one another, work together to reach your city with one voice as true sons and daughters. (Col. 3:13-14, Ps. 133:1, Amos 3:3, Eph. 3:17, 1 Peter 3:8-12, 1 Peter 4:8)

We continue to minister at local churches, homes, and into the streets to reach the hurting and the lost; and assist other ministries & churches with various outreaches throughout the city.

Yes, Peter, go find that man that made that cruel crown of thorns and placed it on My brow, and tell him I will have a crown ready for him when he comes into My Kingdom, and there will be no thorns on it. Many thanks to those of you who continue to offer your support to this ministry. We are humbled and very grateful. Please know that you share in the fruit. Testimonies continue to come to us of transformed lives, in this city, state, nation and around the world! The need to hear and receive this message is growing and the doors continue to open to present it to others.

Over a one-week period, we know of five different ministries here in Jacksonville that presented Father’s Love Letter either in video or the printed version. Those who received the message of Father’s Love were those incarcerated in prisons, young adults, single women and men (some divorced), battered women and their children, and those on the streets. Many local churches are now using Father’s Love Letter as their chief ministry tool to their members and in their outreaches. They tell us the response has been overwhelming; many who received Father’s Love Letter are requesting more to send to their friends or relatives living elsewhere. These are the kind of responses we have continually received since we began ministering with FLL over four years ago. This message is as fresh then as it is now and to all who receive it. It will never get old because it is the depth of who we are!

Several hundred-door hangers of the movie, The Passion of the Christ, attached with Father’s Love Letters, were also sent out into the community, reminding them of the release date for the movie and informing them of Father’s great love! There are several youth events planned for our city. We have received word from one of these ministries that they plan to play Father’s Love Letter video at their event and to distribute the FLL printed version to an estimated 14,000 youth who will be in attendance. Identity and acceptance is in the knowledge and acceptance of His love. The jails within three counties of the First Coast are now providing Father’s Love Letters to the inmates. We continue to meet with funeral directors so that they can provide Father’s Love Letters to the friends and family of the deceased. Please keep all of these outreaches in your prayers!

The website, www.FatherLovesJacksonville.com, has experienced a 400% increase of daily visits. We receive visits from all over the world, on six out of seven continents. Fatherless statistics, resource materials to aid in overcoming this problem, itinerary, special events, products offered, ministry tools and much more is continually being added to www.HotPursuitMinistries.com to assist the community in reaching the hurting and the lost. Our monthly investment for these sites is both an expense and outreach.

There are many opportunities for you to co-labor with us on outreaches. You can join us in prayer, with your offerings, by letting others know about this ministry or by your physical presence with us. There are many levels of commitment in which you can partner with us. Please consider assisting us in one of these many outreaches. The souls of men, women and children are in the balance. The fields are white to harvest! What can you do? What will you do?

• Youth Quake Live, Friday night, April 2^nd, at Crossroads United Methodist Church, from 8 to 10 PM.  (Set up and break down, 6:30 to 10:30 PM.)
• Ministering at Crusade Over Violence at J. Phillip Randolph Park on Saturday, April 3^rd, at 9 AM till.  Revival Meetings on April 6^th and 7^th at 8 PM, held at True House Deliverance Temple, 2955 Edison Ave. with Apostle Thomas. (Come join us.)
• On April 16^th and 17^th, Beauty For Ashes will be held in St. Augustine, Flagler College Auditorium, with all 800 ladies receiving Father’s Love Letter. (Cost for this outreach is $150 and several hours to prepare the Father’s Love Letters.)
• On Sunday, April 25^th, Opening of the Beaches Parade. (Design for float and decorating to be completed in advance.  Decorators, financial support and parade participants are needed for this outreach.) Last year, over 20 helpers from several different churches and ministries assisted us. They distributed 5,000 Father’s Love Letters and thousands of pieces of candy, beach balls, and many other items to the crowd, who came from all over the First Coast region. With increased finances and laborers we can exceed the impact, reaching many more souls. (The cost of this outreach last year was approximately $750. We can expect about the same for this year.)
• Father’s Love Forum is in Canada, May 4^th through May 8^th. (Transportation and lodging expenses.) Pray!

Other future outreaches include mail outs into gated communities as well as mail outs section by section of the First Coast. To cut down on expenses of postage and materials, we will be sending Father’s Love Letters in a post card format. Aerial banners, billboards and publications will also continue, including during the Super Bowl. Any church, ministry or anyone wanting to underwrite this outreach, the parade costs or any other outreach, please contact us as soon as possible.

Hot Pursuit Ministries assists other ministries to accomplish the task of reaching this city and in seeing the reality of unity in the body of Christ. One part of the fulfillment of this vision takes place April 30^th. First Coast Christian Outreach will be overseeing a Reconciliation Service on April 30^th, being held at the new Jacksonville Arena. Believers from all over this First Coast area are invited to participate, in hopes to fill it to capacity with the body of Christ. You will not want to miss this!! Make plans to participate to the Glory of God!! STAND, Students Taking A New Direction, will also be coming to Jacksonville, planned for September 11^th, in the arena. Many volunteers are needed for both of these events. STAND is in the beginning stages of planning and commitment for that production here for our youth. Abstinence and salvation are the main emphasis. To volunteer, contact these ministries or us. Father’s Love Letter resource materials continue to be available through this ministry. This helps to cover the costs of the websites and to reach our city in love. Thank you for supporting us by acquiring these products directly from us.

As a full time ministry there are many other costs we encounter on a monthly basis. We decided years ago to walk by faith to do the will of God for our lives. Whatever the cost, we are going for it!! With additional laborers and partners, a whole lot more can be accomplished for the kingdom of God, to the Glory of God. We present to you the needs and the fruits of this ministry, as best we know and give you an opportunity to partner with us. By our reports to you, we hope you agree with us that this is good ground to sow into and we are honored to receive your response.

By ministering His love, gathering statistics, bringing awareness and linking ministries to the resources for change to take place, we are seeing lives transformed. The year of 2003 passed by quickly, another sign that this is truly our last days. We continue to reach souls through Father’s love as never before and pray you are doing the same. We thank those of you, who have supported us along the way, financially, prayerfully, and physically. It has been very rewarding, as we have witnessed the hand of God, His grace and mercy, His extraordinary love and faithfulness to us, to our family and to those around us. We give praises to the Lord, Most High!

Since the birth of this ministry, nearly 5 years ago, we have sought the face of God for His purpose in all that we do. In 1993, He said to us, “You do not know what love is, but I am going to teach you and you will take it to the ends of the earth.” As we yielded to His work in us through many trials, through the fire of God offered to us daily, years of preparation and saturation in His presence, we began to see all people, including ourselves, most precious, as seen through the Father’s love. While ministering with the expression of love in our words and in actions toward men, we then found Father’s Love Letter, which is an exact expression of His love for all men. Following the direction of God for this ministry, we have continued to place this into the hands of others, so that they can also spread His love. The time is short and the field is ripe to harvest, everywhere we go. His love is a powerful force that humbles and compels us to go. As Jesus did, we choose to “forgive them, for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34)

This unconditional love, grace and mercy does not excuse us, but does open the door to find Life, and The Way for all of us. This love will enable us to do what we otherwise could not do. Daily being in His presence, abiding in Father’s love gives us life, direction, and freedom from this world, while still living in it. We must come, come to the waters of life and drink freely!! (Is. 55:1) Thank God that He made a way for us. We could not do it for ourselves; that is why He came. He said, “In this world we would have tribulations, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33) In the death of our ways, we will find The Way! Only He will satisfy! This is something to shout about!“The joy of the Lord is our strength and our stronghold!” (Neh. 8:10) “The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy.” Joy is a precious commodity! Don’t be found without it! “With JOY shall you draw forth from the wells of salvation,” not with sorrow, worry, reason, doubt, and fear. (Is. 12:3) The church is in need of this revelation. When we have it, we can give it away! We must abide in the revelation knowledge of this finished work and rejoice in our trials for they work in us unswerving endurance. They are opportunities for the character of Christ to be formed in us. Fear Not…Look Not At The Situation…Magnify The Lord Over Every Situation!! (Ro. 5:3, Ro. 14:17, Pro. 3:3-7) The world is starving for acceptance and direction found only within our Father’s love. Knowing His love for us gives us purpose for our existence. There is no peace apart from the acceptance of this great love. You can’t give, what you don’t have. Could this be why His love is not shared with those around us and why the church and the world often look the same? God’s love for us, and our love for Him should compel us to tell others of His great love. This is Hot Pursuit Ministries! We encourage you to continue to seek Him through resting in His great love.

We now humbly report to you of the fruit of your prayers and financial support to the ministry of
Hot Pursuit Ministries, for the year of 2003. The message of Father’s love was spread through various forms of this ministry. We gave out over 45,000 Father’s Love Letters (FLL) through personal contact and ministerial outreaches, and through the media, and virtually everywhere! The majority of these were distributed in English, thousands more were sent from here in Jacksonville, into over twenty nations, in the languages of those nations. There were aerial banners flown over the beaches & Alltel Stadium, and also billboards displayed the message of Father’s Love. The website continues to have visitors from all over the world. Many Father’s Love Letter originals were sent to individuals, ministries, churches, and many others to continue spreading Father’s love; this includes our outreach with Father’s Love Letters into New York City at Ground Zero. Specially designed cards, with the message of Father’s love, were also distributed for Christmas & other holidays through out the year. There is virtually no limit to His love and where, to who, or how to share this love!

From these many distributions, we continue to receive calls and emails as lives are being set free and transformed by the saving grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. These individuals are also grateful for your support of this ministry. They will never be the same!

First Outreach For 2004: The Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade was held January 19th, despite the rain! The two miles long parade route winded through downtown Jacksonville and past several buildings under construction, as the city prepares for the Super Bowl held here next year. The message “Father Loves You” and the web address, www.FatherLovesJacksonville.com were printed on the banner, on the signs on the truck, and on the 1,500 pieces of candy and favors that were given out that day. Bouncing balls, small Frisbees, giant yellow, smiley face beach balls, and red nerf footballs were tossed to the crowds. Almost 3,000 Father’s Love Letters were given out to the crowds lining the parade route. (Last year we gave out 1,100 FLL and ran out long before the parade ended.)
Due to the rain, many of the spectators were under overhangs instead of along the sidewalks; so it appeared that there were fewer spectators than the year before. Because there were many at a distance from us, we had to pursue them through the many puddles!! The laborers made up several local churches, including one pastor and his wife and another ministry who joined us. Members of the MADDADS organization, who were in the parade somewhere behind us, also gave out Father’s Love Letters. As we got soaked from head to toe, including the FLL from time to time, we thought how this was nothing compared to the journey Jesus took in our place!
This year we ran out of candy and favors and had extra FLL. We know that if the weather had been clear and sunny, like last year, we probably would have run out of FLL again. So next year we will be prepared for that. We are learning as we go and enjoying it as well. The construction workers, the business men and women, the police who guided the parade, the government workers, the waiters and waitresses, restaurant owners, bus drivers, bands, clowns, ROTC, and all we passed by or who passed by us were very receptive to Father’s Love Letter.
At the end of the parade, we were able to give FLL to many of the entrants of the parade. In one of the military units, there was one young man, while in formation, who put his arm behind his back, so that a Father’s Love Letter could be placed in his hand!! This was one of many we will never forget!! And though getting dry and warm was important at the time, the laborers are ready for the next parade!!!!!!!! Many people from different professions were touched with the message of Father’s Love that day.

As our borders enlarge, we continue to trust God, living by faith, as He sends us laborers and the finances through various means to do what He sent us to do. We are in full time ministry to the call upon our lives and hopefully we have been faithful to share with you the fruit of your seed sown. In the future, as we are stretched beyond reasoning, faithful and obedient, we will eat the good of the land! In many different ways, we assist in reaching this community and others throughout the world through the knowledge and acceptance of the love of God. Some upcoming outreaches and other planned events:

• Media outreaches through various publications, billboards, radio, TV, aerial banners, & websites.
• As guest speakers to share Father’s love at churches, conferences, and other outlets.
• Attendance at Youth Quake Live and other youth events to share Father’s love.
• A decorated float in the “Opening of the Beaches Parade” and other parades with FLL.
• Father’s Love Letter for the women attending Beauty for Ashes held in St. Augustine in April.
• Father’s Love Forum in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada in May.
• Hosting Barry Adams of Father Heart Communications as he returns to Jacksonville.
• Approximately 1,500 to 2,000 FLL printed and distributed every month, just in Jacksonville.

Ministry expenses primarily consist of the cost of outreaches (duplicating Father’s Love Letter and other materials, website maintenance with software upgrades, & video/audio production) and general operating expenses. We are in full time ministry, first unto God and into our community.

About 5,000 Father’s Love Letters were given out at Bethlehem Visit, held at Ponte Vedra Presbyterian Church. The church bulletin for the Christmas service also contained the FLL. This is but one of the ways our Father’s Love is spread. Working together as the body of Christ, we can reach our cities.

Our last few weeks have been filled with spreading the love of our Father here in Jacksonville!

Our last few weeks have been filled with spreading the love of our Father here in Jacksonville!

In conjunction with MADDADS, we were able to participate in a couple of events: “Safe Kids Day,” declared by the city of Jacksonville as a remembrance of the murder of two young boys and their aunt. There were over 1,200 Father’s Love Letters distributed. On October 27^th, at “I Took the Pledge Community Day”, over 1,500 youth, teachers, chaperones, pastors, and government officials were present for the pledge. Everyone who attended received a Father’s Love Letter. Once again, we were honored to meet with Columba Bush, Governor Jeb Bush’s wife, to give her the new Father’s Love Letter DVD and other material relating to fatherlessness. This will assist in reaching the hurting in our communities here in Florida. (Is. 61 He has sent us to comfort the broken hearted….)

On November 1^st, the ‘Father Loves You-FatherLovesJacksonville.com’ banner was flown over ALTELL Stadium for the Florida Georgia football classic; billed as the largest outdoor cocktail party in the United States, with over 86,000 attending. A one-hour message of Father’s love! What a witness! (The banner will fly from 11AM to 12 PM on December 7^that ALTELL for the Jaguars vs. Patriots game.)

On November 5^th, Youth Quake Live had their monthly outreach along the St. Johns River, at the Jacksonville Landing, packed with over 2,500 youth and their youth pastors. Father’s Love Letter resources were displayed along with fatherless statistics and how it has affected the United States and many nations.

On November 11^th, the city of Jacksonville hosted a Veterans Day Parade. Thousands lined the streets as the parade, with over 100 entries, made up of marching bands, veterans, military vehicles, and more passed by. Provision was made to pass out over 3,000 specially designed Father’s Love Letters to the crowd and to Veterans organizations from here to Gainesville, homeless shelters, and nursing homes and nearby hospitals following the parade.

An evening with Jacksonville’s Mayor John Peyton on November 13^th was an invitation to the local churches to come together in unity to assist him in making a better Jacksonville. This is but a beginning to seeing unity as a reality. There are several organizations God has brought to the forefront within our city for this purpose. One is First Coast Christian Outreach for Super Bowl 2005. We are co-laboring with them beginning with a Reconciliation Service to be held in Jacksonville in the beginning of 2004. This building of relationships with other pastors and leadership is a key element in reaching this city. Please pray our mayor has wisdom in seeking Godly counsel concerning this.

On November 14^th, we were present and participated in THRIVE, a simulcast women’s conference with John Maxwell and many noted women speakers. It was held at UNF, the location of a local church, from 9:00 AM until 4:30 PM, with hundreds attending. As men and women came by the booth throughout the day, many were touched with the love of the Father through the Father’s Love Letter. We were also able to pass this information to other churches and ministries represented that day. At the close of the conference, as the women were leaving, Father’s Love Letters were handed out. The simulcast reached about 47,000 throughout the United States. Oh that we could have been able to touch each one with this message of Father’s love!

We were unable to secure the use of a boat for the Lighted Boat Parade, therefore we did not enter; and hope to participate in this much-publicized event next year. The mail out into the gated communities of Jacksonville still continues. Each mail out requires a list of names and addresses (directory), envelopes, the printing and paper for FLL, the postage, return address labels, and addressing of each one! The remaining FLL for the Deerwood community, with 900 residences are stuffed and the envelopes addressed, awaiting the postage: a cost of $130. Contact us with your assistance for the completion of this outreach, new outreaches, and monthly support.

A Bethlehem Visit is December 18^th, 19^th, and the 20^th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Ponte Vedra Presbyterian Church. They welcome prayer warriors and other laborers on site every day. Please consider being a blessing at this outreach by praying, attending, bringing the unsaved, and giving financially. Specially designed Christmas cards with the Father’s Love Letter will be given out.

Father’s Love Letter Devotional Book is now in its third printing and available by contacting us. We also have the DVD, posters, VHS videos, and CDs for purchase. The sale of these products supports the work of this ministry and they minister life to others. These are great gift items!

We are in full time ministry into this city, this nation, and the world with the message of the Father’s Love for all humanity, in all walks of life. All that we do is unto the Lord with the financial and prayer support of you, His precious saints and fellow brothers and sisters. These outreaches and the ones to come from year-end and through 2004 will take place through every joint supplying. We thank you who have given into this ministry. Your seed of financial and prayer support is bearing much fruit and to your account as well!

Wow! So much to tell, so much has transpired since our last update to you. First and foremost, we give honor and glory to our Father, our King, and Lover of our soul. Secondly, we thank you who support us either in your prayers, encouragement, as ambassadors of Father’s Love or through your offerings. The ministry that we do is often not recognized as ministry at all. So we are very thankful that the fruit of our labors has been revealed to you and that you have responded, giving in some way to Hot Pursuit Ministries. With your support, we will continue to blanket our city and cities beyond with Father’s Love and witness the souls of men coming to the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

On Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day weekend, a banner was flown over the beaches area, near
St. Augustine to Atlantic Beach and back into the city of Jacksonville. The banner, in red and black, read Father Loves You-FatherLovesJacksonville.com, declaring this truth and inviting all to visit the website, where anyone could find their journey home to Father. There were many visits to the website to see and hear of His great love for all men. While taking shots of this banner flying overhead, the opportunities arose to share the love of God and to give out Father’s Love Letters on the beach. We encourage you to check out the pictures of the banner on the website.

At this writing, Barry Adams is ministering in several nations in Europe, seeing many open doors. He has reported incredible responses to the message of Father’s love and the airing of Father’s Love Letter into 38 nations through satellite from Norway. He has been in churches, on radio and television stations and the hunger to know this love is growing. Not only is it growing in other nations, we have noticed an increase right here in our midst. We are receiving invitations to share the message of Father’s love as it relates to fatherless issues in our state and in our nation. Here are but a few facts to share with you regarding the need and the hour in which we live.

• Fatherlessness is the most significant family or social problem facing America
• 85% of all youth who are in prison grew up in a fatherless home, 70% for all others in prison
• Of the children born to married parents, half will experience their parent’s divorce
• Three out of four teenage suicides occur in households where a parent has been absent
• 75% of all adolescent patients in chemical abuse centers come from fatherless homes

There are many more statistics we could add to this list that deal with runaway children, homosexuality, teenage pregnancies, school performance, etc., however this should be enough to reveal to you some facts plaguing our society today and revealing the fact that we are living in a primarily fatherless nation. These types of statistics are not found in America alone, but are also in other nations. The need is great and the hour is upon us. He said He would turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the children to their fathers. (Malachi 4: 5-6) For every need, a void is created, and that void will be filled… with what shall it be filled? For too long now we have seen man fill himself with what does not satisfy. Father is awakening the bride to the truth and giving opportunities for preparation to be the true bride of Christ. The world is in travail till the true sons and daughters are revealed. (Romans 8:22-23) Who will respond to the call of their lover? We are responding with the message of Father’s love through our own actions as well as spreading His love through the message in Father’s Love Letter. Doors continue to open for us to share this life-giving message. Local ambassadors of this message are increasing in number. It is especially rewarding to us to see this reproduction. We are extremely stretched with the responsibility also increasing upon us. We are growing beyond our one-room office and in need of more software, computers, printers and other office equipment!! These are good things, however with all this comes more paperwork and cost to do what we do. Because of this, we have a need for laborers to do secretarial duties and others to set up for presentations and still others as intercessors. Would you stand with us for these added financial needs to be met abundantly, as well as for intercessors and secretarial help? Perhaps you are one God is speaking to fulfill one of these needs. We trust and believe that to whomever He speaks, they will obey, doing whatever He lays on their heart.

Ponte Vedra Presbyterian Church will once again have Bethlehem Visit, with over 26,000 walking through the village at Christmas time, December 18th-20th. They are considering handing out a Christmas card, specially designed with Father’s Love Letter on the inside. Please pray for them as they seek the Lord’s direction for the format and quantity of Father’s Love Letters. There is a need for laborers, intercessors, finances, protection and safety, and responsible and dedicated oversight. And most importantly pray for the salvation of the many souls who witness this production. We believe this is an awesome outreach the Lord has entrusted to them for our city and we are blessed and honored to be a part in some way.

The mailing of Father’s Love Letter into gated communities has begun! Funds were sent to us by a local church to cover the cost of postage for half of our first mailing. We are grateful for their seed given for these many souls. If you have access to a directory for another secure community, desire to send the funds for postage to complete this mailing, or for the next one, or can address and stuff envelopes with FLL for any one of these outreaches, let us hear from you.

Acrylic containers were sent to New York City. These were designed with lids to house Father’s Love Letters and to be hung up around Ground Zero. We sent originals for duplication to several individuals and ministries in and around Manhattan. There are so many who live and visit there. Souls!!!

A Daily Billboard was given for the ministry. On November 1st, the Daily Billboard next to the stadium will have a message of Father’s Love and the web address, www.FatherLovesJacksonville.com On the same day a banner with a similar message will fly over the tailgate parties for the Florida Vs. Georgia Football game at Alltell stadium. If you would like to give into this outreach, send us your best seed beforehand!
